Trustee Access to Board Meetings

At today’s meeting, we were told that the “private” part of the meeting was open to members of the Membership Committee. Since the MC is not a part of the Board as a matter of governance design, this suggests that the latter part of the meeting is “internal” rather than “private to the Board”. Now that we have SSO available to identify the roles of meeting participants, can the Board consider whether to have the meeting open to all Trustees and not just those who are on the MC when the subject matter is not “Board-private”?

Thanks

Open to that idea, thx for bringing it up! Context yesterday was a bit different though, for the board was consulting with a specific subset of the MC, on two agenda items.
