Sad news, @jucasaca died

Juan Carlos Sanz Cabrero (@jucasaca ) died on Friday, August 22
He has been collaborating with the documentation, translation and code in Spanish since before LibreOffice was founded. He has actively participated in the forums and helped as soon as he could.

This is the translation of his son’s message

Good afternoon,
I am Eduardo Sanz, the son of Juan Carlos.
Unfortunately my father died last Friday, August 22 due to the disease with which he had been fighting for several years.
I would like to thank all the people with whom he collaborated. I guess you will know but he was a computer enthusiast and that everything he did was for pure hobby.
Participating in the trips and conferences he attended made him very excited and always talked about what I was working on at that time. So again, thank all those who helped him at some point.

In case I could help someone you can contact me on Telegram as @Mredulis

All the best.

*Buenas tardes, *

I’m really sad by this.

He will surely be missed by the LibreOffice community.

I too offer my condolences to his family.

Juan was recently involved in brainstorming the reworking of Report Builder and I wish we could have continued to share many other projects and see them completed.

My condolences to his family.

Juan Carlos had been volunteering with the community since the days of OpenOffice.org.

We should remember him with the phrase that motivated him to contribute:

“If you can’t find what you want, help make it happen.”

He shared his first steps in the community in one interview for the blog.

My condolences to his family.
