Hi Colton
Thank you again for the help page.
I usually transform the document you sent into a LibreOffice Help page
which is in XML.
I also submit patches with the writer authorship: YOU.
Therefore I need to know
- If you agree to be named the author of the patch
- the e-mail you will be contacted/referred to the world (this gmail?)
- Please register yourself to the gerrit website at
https://gerrit.libreoffice.org
The LibreOffice project requires that you send a mail (the mail you will
be contacted), to libreoffice@lists.freedesktop.org with
-----8<-----
Body:
“All of my past & future contributions to LibreOffice may be licensed
under the MPLv2/LGPLv3+ dual license.”
-----8<-----
Some advise:
Please read the English style recommendation for writing documentation
on this link:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/DocumentationTeamInfo/StyleGuide#Writing_style
Please follow this presentation/video on what documentation of a product
is and it several categories (Guide, Tutorial, Reference, Discussions):
Since you have a computer science background, you may want to dive
deeper into XML-ish of the Help system and patch submission of yourself.
If this is the case, let me know.
Cheers
Olivier
