When you click on the main menu Help > Documentation, in any LibreOffice module, the link to https://books.libreoffice.org/[XX] opens where XX is the code of the language chosen for the interface.
A problem occurs when an XX page does not exist in books.libreoffice.
In many cases, the documentation is very obsolete or non-existent but this is not the case with the German language: Its documentation is quite up to date.
In the German documentation you can download many updated files, but the drawback is that the guides are by chapters and the transition to the new format of documentation web pages requires that the guides be complete.
I don’t know if there is an active German documentation team and if they already know the problem and are trying to solve it.
There are several solutions. They all involve creating a books.libreoffice/de/ page
- Let the German team put together the chapters to create the complete guides and add them to the new page
- Create an automatic redirection to the old documentation page in the
books.libreoffice/de. page - Let the
books.libreoffice/de. page be a transition and create a link to the old documentation page,as an example is shown in the attached image. (translation in german is neccesary)
