[steering-discuss] Wikimess & others issues

Hi

It is a bit of complain but anyway we should address this, the sooner the better.

It becomes more and more difficult to find information on our wiki.

Together with our recent announcement (3.3.2) I had troubles to find the release notes... I am sure it is there, but no entry point from the main pages, and the search function is not that smart...

We need a better index and entry page on our wiki.

Please add at least a "Releases" entry in the left side index.

On the download page of LibreOffice at http://www.libreoffice.org/download/release-notes/, I would like a pointer to the list of the bugs fixed and other improvements with slight more technical details.

I am ready to help if necessary.

Thanks in advance

Hi Olivier,

the better.

I'm not actively involved in the wiki at the moment, but I think two things will help:

First, we can structure information already with the existing tools. It just needs some patience and work.

Second, as soon as Mediawiki 1.1.17 is in a stable state, Manuel wants to create the multilanguage wiki we talked about: There will be one global TDF wiki, and lots of localized LibreOffice wikis. It's still hard to say when this will happen, but I hope soon - it depends on when MW 1.17 is in a stable state.

Please add at least a "Releases" entry in the left side index.

I can do so, where should it point to?

Agreed, that would be helpful.
