Hello,
for transparency, and to reach out to members not subscribed to the internal list, I want to share here what I sent there about a month ago, one June 23:
next week, TDF’s team meets in Munich for an in-person team meeting. I have planned to give an update of the current TDF situation there.
Having read the mails on this list, I want to offer to stream this part of the team meeting for all our members also via Jitsi, similar to a townhall meeting.
I can share what I share with the team, but I don’t want a “he said, she said” fingerpointing session full of accusations.
Can all members interested in this please let me know here or in private e-mail, so I can coordinate this with our team meeting agenda?
The slot is planned for Monday morning around 10am Berlin time (8am UTC), at the start of the team meeting. If there is enough interest, I am happy to do a second meeting during one of the European evenings next week from our Munich meeting, so please let me know if you are interested.
That call didn’t take place, mostly as due to the short notice, not many members could participate. However, I’ve sent another e-mail just last Friday:
Now that the team meeting is over and some time has passed, planning is easier and with less time constraints. I’d therefore like to offer such a call again.
Please let me know if you are interested, either here on the list, or via private e-mail. I will then setup a poll and coordinate one or two meeting slots.
I am happy to organize also two or three meeting slots, so everyone can participate. We’ll also try to get localizers into the call, so community members who don’t speak English can join (feel free to translate and share this message with them!).
For a start, this meeting will be for members only, so we can share more information. However, once this has happened, I am happy to organize something also for the general public, and I will send another message here with the details at a later time.
Florian
