Hi @PeeWee I’ve reviewed chapter 6 - GSWithImpress and there were only a few minor changes. I’ve added them in and commented on them where necessary.

Application Colors
I am updating the LibreOffice Impress user guide and have discovered a major change in LibreOffice.
In the LibreOffice Options dialog, the page for changing Application Colors is no longer available. LO25212-Configuring LibreOffice chapter in the Work In Progress folder is now incorrect.
Can someone check to see if the Application Colors page will no longer be available.
Regards
PeeWee
It seems that the colors of the application have been eliminated and themes for customization have been introduced.
You must read the notes of the version
Automatic
color scheme is now readonly. To customize appearance, create a new scheme by clicking on the New
button.https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/25.2#Application_Theming

Hello Antonio
Thanks for the info. I have made a comment in the file GS25212 Configuring LibreOffice about Application Colors. This chapter now requires some reformatting and further checking. At the moment I do not have spare time.

Also in the 25.2 release notes there is a new very visible feature on
Soft edge and glow effects are now allowed in text frame objects (Balázs Varga, allotropia) tdf#135320
Cheers
Olivier
Hello Olivier
I already have the info on slow edge and glow effects feature from the release notes and will be updating the Impress Guide.

Hello Olivier
Do you know how to apply this glow effect to text frame objects?
I have tried to locate a tool or property that lets me apply a glow effect, but drawing blanks at the moment.

Hi @PeeWee what would you like me to pick up next, as I’m not sure how you and Ed are working? If you could give me some guidance as to what needs to be reviewed next, I’d be grateful.
