+ *Fridays* at 15:00 UTC.

could this be openly tracked (in redmine) to be used as reference later on.

in the same idea, what is the process to update https://help.libreoffice.org/latest ?

what is “recurring” with this ?

Please be my guest. Remember that the contents are managed by communities.

Help online is maintained and updated by myself. Mostly once a week, after translation or help update of (active) branches.

Regards
Olivier

It means the topic is not to be forgotten but resources and volunteers for are not in place.

Olivier

which concretely means ?

which means just abandonned ? https://fr.blog.documentfoundation.org/

also from Aide de la communauté | Communauté LibreOffice francophone, links with /fr just go to EN version.

Aide en ligne LibreOffice : Vous pouvez parcourir l’application d’aide LibreOffice en ligne - choisissez entre l’aide Writer, l’aide Calc, l’aide Impress, ou les autres thèmes LibreOffice

I have updated the links for the French pages, but that should be done by the French documentation team

thanks.

seems a kind of myth.
not sure what was the traction years ago, but now almost stuck to translate 1 guide on 7.x …

quite the same with ES from what I see

still first on google :frowning:
Calc Guides | LibreOffice Documentation - LibreOffice User Guides

@ohallot can you check the draft of the Calc guides in Silverstripe

https://www.libreoffice.org/admin/pages/edit/show/4996

done

You cannot make Google forget what it has already indexed. The indexing is organic and under Google control.

This result will stay active for a while.

Cheers
Olivier

I have copied the solution to the rest of the page guides

the question is why do we maintain a page with the main title “Calc guides” with outdated links ?

Some other outdated language pages link to that page

not sure I get the logic :
because some are outdated, we keep everything outdated ? :face_with_thermometer:

and the “new bookshelf” looks not so promising. was that discussed somehow / somewhere ?

It is not outdated, it is the guide for release 6.4.

We also keep archives of older LibreOffice release, either for the source, SDK, binary packages, help and help online.

Localized documentation is a task assigned to the local communities. They work on their available resources.

The bookshelf project is hosted in git at

https://git.libreoffice.org/infra/bookshelf/

Cheers
Olivier
