Thanks to Eliane Domingos for the image
Thank you for the kind wishes, I join the hope that we can all work together for the sake of our project.
I would be remiss, however, if I would not mention how the people of Gaza, particularly the Christians, are undergoing these days:
No Santa-Claus, only bombs:
How a small group of christians observe a sombre Christmas in Gaza
Also this Christmas eve, December 24th - today - the staff and patients of the Indonesian hospital, already hit earlier in the war by Israeli bombs, were forcibly expelled into the surrounding warzone by Israeli ground forces. At the same time, the two other hospitals in North Gaza, Kamal Adwan and Awda, were also either shelled or hit by rockets. Today’s toll of casualties has not yet been fully recorded, but at least 11 people have apparently been killed in air strikes in the Nusseirat and Jebalia refugee camps.
… in getting the best and most complete representation of our activities.
Good that you do share this Eyal.
While it’s a shame that the Dutch government silently supports this genocide and we are making war in TDF, I am in the lucky situation that I can have a good time with family and friends. I hope and wish that is the same for many, if not all, of us.
Italo, thank you for your initial post.
Pleasure to read the season greetings and best wishes expressed therein to all of us.
Unfortunately I am disappointed about the way the thread turned then…
Cor, I find it an impropriety to utter Eyal’s description on Gaza’s tragic situation, the alleged silent support of a genocide of the government you cited and we are making war in TDF in the same breath.
Seems to me as a loss of all sense of scale.
I am happy that you enjoy your lucky situation you are in and that you can have a good time.
Hi Stephan,
I was speaking about my own situation - without any attempt to make a comparison on scale of horribility or so - and tried to give it a positive touch. Sorry of that somehow feels uncomfortable or confusing,
Cor
